The worst place in life we’ve ever booked Negative: Upon arrival, the apartment was found in an unsatisfactory condition. Specifically: the balcony door locks were not functioning; kitchen knives were heavily rusted; there was significant dust on shelves and on top of the refrigerator; the oven contained visible dirt and food residue; the sofa contained leftover food; used shampoo packaging and packaging from men’s underwear were left in the apartment; the air-conditioning ventilation channels were heavily contaminated with dust; and a sewing needle was discovered inside the bed linen. All of the above has been documented with photo and video evidence, as well as recorded communication logs. After the cleaning staff later attended the apartment, contamination was also discovered inside a personal cream container. While we cannot conclusively prove who caused this, the fact remains that the issue was discovered immediately after the cleaning visit, and the item had been intact prior to that time. Due to the repeated visits required to correct the deficiencies, we were effectively required to remain at the apartment for two full days to grant access for maintenance and cleaning teams. Despite these circumstances, we were subsequently informed that an additional cleaning fee would be charged to us, while no compensation was offered for the inconvenience, time loss, or the distress caused by the situation. Given the seriousness of the sanitation and safety concerns — including the discovery of a needle in the bedding — we also did not feel comfortable leaving the apartment unattended for further service visits. We also reported this to the supervisor, who instead of solving the problems, spoke rudely to us and pretended that nothing had happened.
